Paros is an island, one of the Cyclades island group in the central Aegean Sea, Greece. It is separated from Naxos by a channel around 8 kilometers wide. Paros lies to the west to Naxos and about 185 kilometers south-east of Piraeus. The Community of the island includes many uninhabited islets. Their totaling size is 196,308 square kilometers of land. The municipality of Antiparos is its nearest neighbor.
The island was known for its rare white marble with high quality. Today, on the island can be found abandoned marble mines and quarries. Paros also is known as a popular tourist spot.
The area on the island is approximately 165 square kilometers. It is longest from north-east to south-west is 21 kilometers, and it is about 16 kilometers wide. Paros has a pear shape. It formed by an only own mountain. The mountain is broadest on the south-west and north-east sides. Paros is composed principally of marble. In a few places can be find mica-schist and gneiss. Antiparos lies to the west of Paros. The channel between the two islands is their narrowest place less than 2 kilometers wide. Paros is surrounding of a several smaller islets.
Paros has a few matchless beaches including Piso Livadi, Pounda, Logaras, Parikia, Agia Irini, Naoussa Bay and ChrissĂ AktĂ near Drios on the east coast. The permanent strong wind in the strait between Naxos and Paros makes it a partiality for windsurfers.

Mykonos
Mykonos is an island, part of the Cyclades group in Greece. It lies between Paros, Syros, Tinos and Naxos. Mykonos has an area approximately 85.5 square kilometers and rises to an elevation about 341 meters at its highest peak. In the island live 9,320 inhabitants. Most of them live in the major town Mykonos. The town lies on the west coast of the island. Composition of the island is primarily of granite.

Ios
Ios is an island of the Cyclades island group in the Aegean Sea, Greece. The island is hilly with coastline shaped with cliffs, spread halfway between Santorini and Naxos. Ios is around 18 kilometers long and 10 kilometers wide. It has a land area of approximately 109 square kilometers. The island supports a population of 1,838 people. It is a part of the Santorini peripheral unit.

Crete

Corfu is the second largest island of the Ionian Island group in the Ionian Sea, Greece. It is administrated as a single community, and is portion of the Corfu peripheral unit. The community includes Corfu and the smaller islets Othonoi, Mathraki and Ereikoussa. Corfu also is a name of the major town of the island and seat of the community. The island supports the Ionian University.

Naxos
Naxos is the largest island in the Cyclades island group in the Aegean. It has land area about 429 square kilometers. The island was the centre of ancient Cycladic culture.
Sifnos
Sifnos is a capital island, part of the Cyclades island group in Greece. Apollonia is the major town, near the center of the island. It is home of the library and folklore museum. The village's name come from an antique temple of Apollo. It is on the position of the Panayia Yeraniofora’s church. Artemonas is the second-largest village in the island. It is named after an antique temple of the sister-goddess of Apollo, Artemis. The temple located at the position of the Panayia Kokhi’s church. Kastro is other village, built on top of a high hill on the northwestern shore of the island. It is on the site of the antique city of Siphnos. Today Sifnos has spacious medieval remains located of the archeological museum. Kamares is the port village, located on the west shore of the island.
